Administrative Assistant

Seeking:

A responsible experienced Administrative Assistant to be the contact focal point of a local Timber Management Office performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Currently, this is a part time position leading to full time with the hours; Monday – Friday 1:00pm – 5:00pm. Starting pay is $10.00/hour.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized in a variety of office management skills including;

Computer knowledge

Answer phones and transfer calls to appropriate staff

Coordinate scheduled meetings with visitors and clients

Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letter, faxes and forms

Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

Maintain current filing system and contact lists

Update and maintain office policies and procedures

Reconcile expense reports

The ideal candidate should possess service skills requiring;

Knowledge of Office management systems and procedures

Working knowledge of office equipment such as fax machine, copiers, and printers

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Excellent time management skills

Attention to detail and analytical problem solving skills

High School Diploma or higher education is desired

Must be drug free, have a clean background, current drivers license and reliable transportation
